How to install T.O.M. onto my POS?

T.O.M is a piece of software that sits on your POS that allows you to take payments for an order securely at the counter.

Installing T.O.M. onto my POS

Installing T.O.M. is simple to do.  Follow these simple steps;

  1. Go this link - click here (https://terminal.loke.global/) on each of your devices that requires installation
  2. Click Create Code and email this to support@loke.com.au. Make sure you include which location you're setting up (i.e venue, cafe or store name)

3. Once LOKE Support have confirmed, tap the Complete button (Note that this is a time sensitive function and requires both parties to be present remotely)

4. Once complete you will want to add an icon on your device for easy access for this address: https://terminal.loke.global/

    1. On a tablet, tap the Share icon and select add to home screen 
    2. On a Windows device, you will need to install Tile with your LOKE representative.

NOTE: Preferred web browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.

Price Reader

Price Reader is another piece of software that may be installed alongside T.O.M. if it is compatible with your POS.  This piece of software automatically reads the total price on the POS and enters it onto T.OM..  The great benefit of having a Price Reader installed is that it speeds up the process for the server and reduces human error.

 
 

Create a Tender Type:  App Payment

You will need to create a new tender type: App Payment or Mobile Payment on your POS and sits along existing tenders (i.e Cash, Card, Account) so that Check-in Payments can be attributed to these transactions.

If you are unsure of how to create a new tender type then please contact your POS provider.
