LOKE currently provides you with a sub-domain for web ordering (example.loke.app) that you can provide to your customers to order which you are able to add this link social media site, marketing material and even add it to your website that can sit behind a CTA.
If you would like to have your own domain then this can be set-up with your LOKE Representative and your Domain Administrator, please follow the steps below.
How to set up web ordering using your own domain
To set up web ordering using our own domain, you will need to follow these steps.
1. Let your LOKE Representative know what domain you will be using as they will need to make changes to your account settings
2. You will also need to ask your Domain Administrator (the person who manages your domain) to add a CNAME record that points to cname.vercel-dns.com
It is important to note, if you were trying to set up an ordering page under https://mycafe.com and then you may want to set-up a sub-domain order as part of your main domain so that the URL for your customer appears like https://order.mycafe.com. Once this is done, your Domain Administrator will need to add a new CNAME record at order.mycafe.com with a target of cname.vercel-dns.com
3. Once the CNAME record has been updated, let your LOKE representative know and they will be able to set your web ordering live.
NOTE: there is only one domain per organisation. This will mean all sites are accessed by one URL. You can configure location friendly names in LOKE office, this will allow your sites to look something like the following:
ordering.example.com/newtown
ordering.example.com/oldtown
