A code promotion enables a customer to enter a code in their app for credit, an item, or points. There are two types of code promotions:
- A single code
- A collection of unique codes
Single Codes:
A 'single code' promotion means all customers will enter the same code (i.e WELCOME) and then receive a specific reward that you have set; an item, points or a credit.
When creating a single code promotion, the following conditions are available:
- What is the code?
- Each customer can only ever enter this code once
- How many times in total can the code be entered
- Choose which customer are eligible to enter the code via 'Customer Lists'
- Once applied you can set an expiry of the reward the customer has received
Unique Codes:
A 'collection of unique codes' promotion creates a list of unique codes (i.e. ABC123, DEF456) where each unique code can only be entered once. As part of the creation process you'll set how many unique codes you'd like to create. Once a customer enters a valid code, they receive a specific reward; an item, points or a credit.

When creating a collection of codes, the following conditions are available:

- Once applied you can set an expiry of the reward the customer has received
Send a Code as a Link:
Instead of asking a customer to type in a code, you can send them a direct link (or QR code) that takes them straight to their promo. When they tap it, the code is already filled in, they just tap Redeem to claim it, no manual entry needed.
The link format looks like this:
client.loke.app/code/promocode
This works for any existing single code or unique code. Just enter the client's name and the promo code into the URL to share with customers directly.
What the customer sees:
- Link received — via SMS, email, or a scanned QR code
- Redeem screen — the code is shown, pre-filled, on the landing page
- Applying code — a brief loading state while the redemption is processed
- Result — success, a login prompt (if they're not logged in), or a failure message (e.g. code already used, expired, or invalid)
If the customer has the brand's app installed, the link opens directly in the app rather than a mobile browser.
