Using Gmail to Create Unique Emails for Stripe Connect

This guide explains how to use Gmail’s "+" feature to create unique email addresses for setting up Stripe Connect accounts without needing to create multiple Gmail accounts.

Create a Gmail Account

Understand the Gmail “+” Trick
Gmail lets you add “+” and any text after your email username to create variations that still go to your main inbox.

Registering for Stripe Connect
When signing up for a Stripe Connect account, use the format:
youremail+storename@gmail.com
For example, if your Gmail email address is johndoe@gmail.com, use johndoe+herndon@gmail.com when registering for your Stripe Connect account for your Herndon store.
