How do I set up my Stripe Payment Gateway as a Franchisee in the States?

The LOKE platform is integrated with Stripe, a payment gateway.  It is essential that you setup a Stripe account in order to process your transactions and ensure that you receive payments.

This article will take you through, step-by-step on how to set-up your strip account.

NOTE: If you have multiple Franchisees that you manage then you will need to repeat the process for each individual store using the unique email address created for each one.  

Getting started

Before you start you will need to ensure that you have the following to hand

• Your store email address set-up by Head Office e.g. storewi111@jetspizza.com
• Your cell phone to set up 2-factor authentication to link to the Stripe Account.
• Bank details of where you want the payouts to go
• Your Employer Identification Number (EID) and or your Social Security Number 

Setting your your Stripe Account - Franchisee

1. Open your browser in incognito mode, this is particularly important if you own a number of stores

2. Paste the URL in the LOKE email and hit return

3.  Enter the Store email address as provided by Head Office for example - storewi111@jetspizza.com and hit Continue

3.  You will then need to enter your cell phone number to set-up 2 factor authentication.  Stripe will send you a 6-digit code to your cell phone which you will need to enter on the screen.

4.  You need to change the Type of business to Company and then you will be presented with a another drop-down to select the Business Structure and hit Continue.

5.  Complete the rest of the form by entering information about your business and hit Continue.

6.  The next section is about you and you need to be able to act on behalf of the company and you will need to enter your Social Security Number.  Once the form is complete hit Continue.

7.  This section is about where you want your payouts to go.  You can either select your bank by clicking on the Bank Name - this will then connect you to your bank to connect your account.  Or you search for it in the search bar or can simply enter your bank details bu clicking on Enter bank details manually instead.

8.  The final stage is to review your details, make any amendments and then submit it.  You will then receive an email from Stripe to verify your email address.

NOTE: You will need to repeat the process again for each store that you own.  Remember to open up the link in incognito mode.
