H&L POS: How to process a Check-in Payment?

The Staff:

1. Enter the customer's order into the POS system as you would normally.
2. Select LOKE Payment Tender - Choose the LOKE payment option from the available payment methods.

3. Identify the Customer - Select the customer's number or name from the list provided

4. Confirm the Charge - Verify and confirm the charge to complete the transaction.

The Customer

1. Place your order with the staff.
2. Open the App on your mobile device.
3. Select Location - Choose the location where you are making the purchase within the app.
4. Pay In-Store - Hit the Pay In-Store button and inform the staff of your customer number.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What if the customer is not appearing on the POS but they have a number?
A: Check that the customer is at the correct location.

Q: No customers are appearing, what do I do?
A: Contact support at support@loke.com.au and inform the support team.

Q: Can you configure the "Pay with LOKE" button on the POS, such as language or position?
A: Yes, the custom tender key is used for LOKE payments and can be configured for both Fast Tender or Table Payment via LOKE tender.

Q: Can you refund a LOKE payment from the POS?
A: Yes, the venue can reverse the transaction using the Audit Key.

Q: How do LOKE Payments show up in reconciliation reports, including how discounts via LOKE are reported?
A: H&L accepts discounts returned in the response and adds the discount to the transaction as a sale discount. This discount should be written to PLU 99999. On the venue reporting, this would be reported under the revenue group PLU, which is normally called DISCOUNTS.
