Shawa: How to process a Pay at Counter transaction on 3sPOS?

This article will take you through how to process a Pay at Counter transaction on 3sPOS.  Customers are able to use Google or Apple Pay if they have this set-up on their account otherwise they are able to use a saved card or enter a card number to pay.

Processing a Pay at Counter transaction

1.  Customer will place an order with the server as normal

2.  The server will then add the items on the POS by selecting Open Order on the till

3.  The server will then tap on Eat In under Order Type and assign table number 999 and tap OK

 4.  The server will then tap on OK Send Order Back, this will send the order to table 999

5.  When the customer is ready to pay, then can scan the QR code on the counter.  This will open up a web page.  By clicking on View Bill, the app will bring up the order they have just placed.  The customer can click on Continue and proceed to pay.

6.  If the customer wants to pay a tip, they can select the tip amount or simple click on Skip.  On the Summary Page, the customer can select their payment method.  Once the payment has been taken, the customer will see a thank you message and the number of points earned in this transaction and the table will be closed.
