Setting up Upsell Products in Deliverect

This article will take you through how to configure products to be shown as upsell product for customers to add to their basket during the checkout process.

Non-integrated Deliverect without the POS

If you are using Deliverect without the integration with the POS and then its super easy to set-up

1. Log onto your (front-end) Deliverect account
2. Create an upsell group by clicking on Products in the side menu, then + Create and then Upsell Group.  Enter the name of your Upsell Group but you must ensure that you enter the the text LOKEUPSELL in the PLU text box
3. Then add your 3 products to the group.  These products will need to have an image uploaded.
4. Create an upsell product by clicking on Products in the side menu, then + Create and then Product.  Enter the name of your Upsell Product but you must ensure that you enter the the text LOKEHIDDEN in the PLU text box
5. Add your upsell group (LOKEUPSELL) to your newly created LOKE Upsell product (LOKEHIDDEN) and add this hidden product anywhere on your menu.
6. Don't forget to save and publish your menu

Integrated Deliverect with the POS

When you are Deliverect pulls products from the POS, the you need to create a product in the POS with a custom PLU.  The steps on how to create a product within your POS will vary and not all POS companies support a custom PLU.

1. Create a product in your POS and ensure that you the SKU/PLU = LOKEHIDDEN
2. Log onto your Deliverect Account and sync your products to your location.
3. Find your product by clicking on Products in the side menu and then edit
4. In the Edit Product View, scroll down and click on Create an upsell group
5. Enter the name of your Upsell Group but you must ensure that you enter the the text LOKEUPSELL in the PLU text box.   
6. Then add your 3 products to the group.  These products will need to have an image uploaded.
7. Add your POS created Product (LOKEHIDDEN) anywhere on your menu
8. Save and publish your menu.
