Like you, we strive to be a leader in our market. As we build out a market leading product, our cost of doing business is increasing. With an ever-growing product, increased security demands, surging staff costs and the same external pressures you would feel as business operators.
In addition to an increase in the direct cost of doing business, in the last 12 months alone we have introduced over 60 features to the platform, all of which add complexity and cost to delivering and maintaining the LOKE platform.
For this reason, LOKE is implementing a Platform Fee for end users of the product that will commence on 15th August 2022.
By charging the Platform Fee direct to end users, we are aiming to protect you from fee increases in this challenging environment. Because this fee is charged to the end user, it will not affect your LOKE fees.
From 15th August 2022, at checkout, your customers will see a fee on all transactions in much the same way as the aggregator apps such as Deliveroo and Uber Eats add a small surcharge to all of their transactions.
This fee has been designed so that it will not impact the seamless customer experience your customers enjoy on the LOKE platform.
By charging this fee, it will enable us to continue to invest in our product and bring your customers a market-leading ordering, payment and loyalty experience.
In our other markets, a small number of customers have chosen to absorb this cost directly. If you would like to discuss these changes or an alternative fee structure, please contact your LOKE Account Manager or email the team at support@loke.com.au
