Order Ahead and Order at Table with Kounta

This guide is to step you through configuring Kounta to LOKE's mobile ordering platform

When using LOKE Ordering with KOUNTA you should ensure you organise your menu in KOUNTA before syncing with LOKE. 

You will be able to decide what items you want available in the app and create public facing names using  https://my.kounta.com/product/onlineproducts however it is still best to have a well organised menu first. 

1. Create an admin user in Kounta

2. Create an admin user with the same email address in LOKE Office

  • PLEASE NOTE POINTS 1 & 2
  • THE USER LOGGED INTO KOUNTA AND THE USER LOGGED INTO LOKE OFFICE MUST BE THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS.
  • THE KOUNTA USER MUST BE AN ADMIN

3. Go to manage locations in LOKE Office

4. Select the location you want to configure and click the "Order Ahead" tab (underneath the location name)

5. In the Type dropdown select Kounta

6. Click the save button in the top left and after a second you will be shown additional settings. 

7. Click on Connect Kounta and you will be redirected to a Kounta login page (if you weren't already logged in). Sign in here using the administrator account you set up in the 1st step.

Please ensure that this is the same email address that you use to login to LOKE Office and that the Kounta user is an administrator. Please follow these instructions from Kounta to create your admin user Mobile Payments for Kounta

8. After you successfully authorised LOKE and Kounta you will be brought back to LOKE Office where you will now have more configuration options available. Please configure these for your location

9. Click on the Connect Payments button to be redirected to LOKE Auth, here you can login using your LOKE Auth account, once logged in select the site from the drop down list

 

Order Options:

Order Ahead - Allowing users to only order by name

Order at Table - Allowing users to only order by table number

Kounta Site:

Which Kounta Site does this location map to

Primary Payment Method:

Which payment method would you like order ahead payments to be reported on by Kounta - This is usually "App Payments" which is added when authorising LOKE's Loyality Add On. 

Please note that if you need to add or update a payment method this will need to be done in Kounta

Credit Payment Method

If your customer uses credit for their purchase, which payment method would you like these credit redemptions to be reported on by Kounta .

Estimated Wait Period:

When one of your customers orders ahead, your app will let them know that there is a wait time for them to come and collect the item. This is in minutes

Filter Tags:

Kounta has the ability to "tag" items. You can type in any tag or tags that will filter out items so they do not show in the app. The standard is "unavailable", if a product becomes sold out or not available during service you can set that item with the corresponding tag and immediately your app will no longer show the product.

Reset:

This will completely reset all settings for Kounta

Resync:

Use this if you are having an issue with new products not showing in the app or old products still being shown.
