What is an item's 'internal cost' ?

When creating a promotion that includes a item (i.e free coffee or Exchange 500 points for a burger) you need to include you item cost. This is your cost, not the item's retail price.

An promotion example:

  • Promotion Title: Takeaway Burger
  • Item Name: Chicken burger
  • Internal Cost: $3.00
  • Reward points required: 500
  • Description: Exchange 500 points for a takeaway Chicken Burger (RRP $10).

This internal cost is included in the formula Tidy Office applies in calculating Revenue and ROI figures.
