How do I know the customer is paying cash or has already paid online?
The customer can place an order on the platform and select to pay by cash when they receive the order. You will need to check the order and look for loke Payment. The value on this row will tell you how much the customer owes. This will need to be marked off on the POS as cash payment in the usual manner.
When the payment is made online you will see loke Payment & Paid in Full.
Printouts
Once the order has been placed online, the order will print out. Depending on how the store is configured, deferred orders can behave differently. You can then prepare the orders accordingly.
This is what a pick up order will look like on the POS.
And this is what a delivery order will look like on the POS.
Tendering an order for Pick Up
When you need to tender the order, hit the Collect button on the POS. If the customer has paid online, you will see Paid in Full in green letters with a zero balance.
If you do not see a Paid in Full note on the order, you will hit the Collect button on the POS, this means that the customer is going to pay in-store with cash or a credit card.
Enter an amount that they have given and then hit Tender and this will confirm that order is tendered off and whether any change is due.
Tendering an order for Delivery
When you need to tender the order, hit the Send button on the POS. As a reminder, in the HungerRush system, if a delivery order comes into the POS unpaid and they are paying cash upon delivery, no further action needs to be taken on the order. If the customer has paid online, you will see Paid in Full in green with a zero balance. The order will activate as normal and go to the dispatch screen if paid online or cash delivery.
